Voice-controlled speech therapy games for children
In Vocametrix, children play with their voice: a sound, a held note, a loudness level or a word said aloud makes the game move. You choose the settings to suit each child, in session or for practice at home with a parent.
Open Vocametrix →Games driven by sound and loudness
In Monster Dodge, any sound above a threshold you set moves the character to another lane, which suits children who produce little sound. In the Balloon game, the balloon inflates while the child holds a sound above the threshold, with an inflation and burst time from 1 to 10 seconds. In the Airplane game, the plane's altitude follows the loudness of the voice, within a corridor that rises, falls, stays level or that you draw by hand.
Games where the child says words
In Explode Words, the child says the words written in the bubbles, which are recognised and compared with the text, for a duration you set. In the Garden game, the child says the word shown; you can upload your own pictures, whose name becomes the target word, and show the picture, the word or both. Results are kept for each word.
Word lists by target sound
The AI Word Generator writes 20 words for a target sound (in IPA) at the start, middle or end of the word, for the child's age, in English, French, Spanish or German, each with a hint so that the child can find the word without reading it.
Hearing sound contrasts (French)
The minimal pairs game works on five French contrasts (p/b, s/ch, t/d, f/v, k/g), with ten pairs each, in words or nonsense words. In listening mode, the child hears a word and picks the right one.
Short practice at home
You can assign games such as Word Pronunciation or Repeat It as home practice missions that the parent finds in their account, and see each result in your patient list. Each game is set up by you, which keeps screen time short and directed.

Perguntas frequentes
From what age can a child play?
The sound and loudness games need no reading or speech: any sound moves them. The word games suit children who can say words aloud.
Can a parent use the games at home?
Yes. The parent creates an account, adds the child and enters your email address; the missions you assign then appear in the parent's account.
In which languages?
The sound and loudness games use no words. Explode Words and the pronunciation games support many languages; the word generator works in English, French, Spanish and German; the minimal pairs game is in French.
Does the child need to install anything?
No. The games run in a web browser on a device with a microphone.
